6 shops gutted in Dehradun’s Indira Nagar market fire

A fire broke out in the Indira Market in Dehradun on Friday morning. Fire brigade arrived at the spot on the information. Six shops were reduced to ashes in the incident. The reason for the fire is being interpreted as a short circuit.

Thana Kotwali Nagar and Fire Station Dehradun Control Room got information that a fire broke out in clothing shops in Indira Market. Police vehicles and fire stations from the Kotwali Nagar police station reached the spot. Rescue and rescue work started. Six shops were totally destroyed by the fire. Fire fighters were able to control the fire after 1 hour of hard work.

If fire was not controlled during the time, other shops could also be harmed. Fire has damaged shops of Jagadish Sharma, Shri Shankar, Kanta Devi, Prakash, Jaitram and Sanjay. There is no loss of life in the fire. The reasons for the fire are being examined in detail.
