9 CRPF solders martyred in Naxal attack in Chattisgarh’s Sukma district

In Naxal-affected Sukma district of Chhattisgarh, the Naxalites have blown the army’s anti-Landmine vehicle by exploding the nearby tunnel. In the blast, nine CRPF personnel have died while Six jawans have been injured. Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that “I express sympathy for the families of soldiers who died in the Sukma attack. I pray to the wounded jawans fast recovery”.

Special DG DM Awasthi of Naxalite campaign said that a patrol party was going to Kistaram from Palaodi when the Maoists targeted the anti-landmine vehicle by IED. He told that additional security forces have been sent to the spot and there is no firing happening right there.

CRPF officials said that the Naxalites blew an anti-Landmine vehicle in Kistaram police station area of ​​the district. In this incident, 9 soldiers of the CRPF were martyred.  Three of the injured are in critical condition.
