Haridwar traffic plan released ahead of Kartik Purnima

Kartik Purnima festival is likely to be crowded on Tuesday. In view of this, the Haridwar traffic police has released the plan. Under this, light vehicles coming from Delhi and West UP will reach here via Manglaur, Landhaura, Luxar, Ferupur.

If a jam situation arises in Manglaur, light vehicles will come from Narsan via Lakhnauta, Jhabreda, Puhana, Khanpur Chowk, Imlikheda via Bahadrabad. From Rishikesh one has to go to Delhi via Dehradun.

According to SP City Kamlesh Upadhyay, parking of light vehicles and roadways buses coming from Bijnor will be near the canal, Gaurishankar and Niladhara. Return route will continue through Hanuman Temple, Chila Road, Chandighat Outpost. Heavy vehicles will be completely banned from Tuesday’s morning to the end of the fair. Due to the pressure of the crowd, no vehicle will be able to go beyond Shivamurthy Chowk.

– Khyati Dhaba near Bahadarabad Bypass
– Near Jagjitpur Outpost and Bairagi Camp Parking
– Vehicles coming from Doon will stand at Laltappad and Nepali Farm.

This is walking route

– From North Haridwar, you will reach Harki Pauri via Bhimghoda.
From the railway station, devotees will reach Harki Pauri via Moti Bazaar / Bada Bazaar from Upper Road.
– From Pantadwip parking, passengers will reach Har ki Pauri directly from Kangra bridge.
– For Mansa Devi, you will reach Ratan Talkies by climbing the ladder route and passing through the Khadanja route
