NASA to broadcast today’s Blue Moon on its website

It appears once every two and a half years. This is the third blue moon in this season.
From the 21st March to 21st of June, it will be full moon of the fourth full moon in three months, hence it has been named Blue Moon. In the first season of the four seasons of the year, if the 4 full moon comes, then the third full moon is given the name of the Blue Moon. The last Blue Moon occurred on May 21, 2016. The next Blue Moon will be on August 22, 2021.
This term was used from 1528. It has been named betrayer moon in the English proverb. After 1940, the Blue Moon term was used for the second full moon after the first Blue Moon. According to NASA’s website, now Full Moon occurring on June 17, has been named as Strawberry Moon.
