Nobel prize winner found wandering in Illonois; wife’s dead body found in nearby landfill

Nobel prize winner Japanese chemist Ei-ichi Negishi was found wandering in the rural area of ​​North American Illinois. While the body of his wife Sumire Negishi was recovered in a nearby landfill site. Nearly  ten hours ago, reports of missing couple were lodged.

Police said that 82-year-old Ei-ichi was found wandering near Rockford at 5 am on Tuesday morning. After this he was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Later the police found the car belonging to Negishi couple and found the body of Sumire at nearby place where the garbage was put. Rockford is located 100 miles west of Chicago. The cause of Sumire’s death is not known. Although the police has not suspected murder.
There is no information about the health of Ei-ichi. On Monday night at eight o’clock, the disappearance of the Negishi couple was lodged with the Indiana State Police. He was last seen in his house in West Lafayette near Purdue University campus. Ei-ichi is a professor of chemistry at Perdue University. In 2010, he received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry.
