13 injured in bus-truck collision in Dehradun
A bus traveling from Dehradun to Gopeshwar collided with a truck standing on the road side near Kuanwala Dehradun on Sunday morning. 13 passengers on board were injured in the accident. The injured were admitted to a private hospital in the city, where many were discharged after primary treatment.
According to the police, the bus of Uttarakhand roadways left for Gopeshwar from Mussoorie bus station on Sunday morning. The bus had just reached Kuanwala on the Haridwar road,when it collided with the truck back from the rear. It is being told that the accident occurred when the driver was trying to overtake the truck.
There were a total of 32 passengers on the bus, out of which 13 people were injured. Nine injured were discharged from hospital after primary treatment. Three are currently undergoing treatment.
