Prakash Pant presents Rs 45585 crore Uttarakhand budget 2018

On Thursday, Uttarakhand’s Finance Minister Prakash Pant introduced the Budget Year 2018-19 in the House in Gairsain. The Trivendra Singh Rawat led Government has presented a budget of Rs 45,585 crore. This is the second budget of TS Rawat’s government. In the last financial year 2017-18, the Government presented a budget of 39957.20 crores. It is 14.08 percent more than the financial year 2017-18.

The focus of government has been on rural development, education and health in Uttarakhand budget 2018. Its aim is to overcome the problem of migrations in Uttarakhand. At the same time strengthening the internal structure of the police has taken the attention of the government. After education, the highest budget has been received by rural development. In the budget, the government has given priority to education in first place, rural development on the other, health sector on third, roadsand bridge construction, fifth on internal security (home) and sixth number of disaster management.

The assembly of the BJP government of Uttarakhand is going on in the Assembly House, Gairsain of Chamoli district. Today was the third day of the session. In the proceedings started in the afternoon, the Finance Minister put the budget on the floor of the House. Finance Minister Prakash Pant presented the income-expenditure. The protesters protested on the road at 10 am on the road. Outside, there was a lot of agitation for the permanent capital.
