RJD supremo Lalu Yadav complains of health issues in jail; admitted to RIMS hospital

RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has been admitted to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi. After the advice of the doctors, the prison management has taken this decision. Lalu Yadav may have many types of checkups in the hospital.

It is noteworthy that the decision on illegal withdrawal of 3.13 crore rupees from the Dumka Treasury in the fodder scam has still been undecided on RJD chief Lalu Yadav. The decision in the special CBI court of Ranchi has been deferred for the past three days.

CBI Judge Shivpal Singh had earlier fixed the date for this verdict on March 15, but the decision was postponed due to the petition filed by Lalu. The decision was expected on Saturday in the second half. But today this decision has been postponed. Now the decision can come on March 19.

In his petition filed immediately before the verdict, Lalu had said that in case of illegal withdrawal from Dumka treasury, 3 persons, including the then-accountant General PK Mukhopadhyay, were accused. Only after pronouncing the petition, the ruling will be pronounced on Lalu in case of illegal withdrawal from Dumka Treasury.

Significantly, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has already been convicted in three cases of fodder scam. Overall, he has been sentenced to 13.5 years. In which Lalu is accused of illegal withdrawal of Rs 3.13 crore from this treasury while being Chief Minister of Bihar between 1995 and 1996.
