Uttarakhand Government to organize Goat Swayamvar in Tehri on 11 March
Uttarakhand Government is organizing Goat Swayamvar on March 11 in Pantwadi village of Tehri. Guests are coming from countries and abroad to attend this unique wedding of goats. The Green People Organization has initiated this initiative to maintain the connectivity of the people from the village getting vacant in the absence of genetic race reform and employment. In this, the local people are also participating and giving their support.
The goat swayamvar is being organized by the government may have been postponed due to political gains and losses. But, seeing the crop and livestock as tourism, employment and identity in the vacant villages, Green People Organization will organize Goat Swayamvar for the second time by creating Gaot Village for it. For this, it will be held from 9 am to 4 pm in Pantwadi of Tehri district (Nagtibba) on March 11. Guests from countries and abroad have been invited for this unique program of Goat Swayamvar.
Tourists from many countries have given consent to come to self. The Green People Organization, under the guidance of Colonel Ajay Kothiyal, founder of Youth Foundation, has invited famous folk singer Narendra Singh Negi as the chief guest. Apart from this, those who promote tourism activities in agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture and mountain are also invited.
