Amazon India lays off 60 employees; company says part of restructuring process
Leading e-commerce company Amazon has reduced the number of employees in India. The company has shown the way out of approximately 60 employees about a week ago. Following this step, Amazon is re-structuring its business spread all over the world. Under this, the company has started the sorting process of its employees. Media reports have also said that the company can remove more employees in the coming time.

According to the news published in the Economic Times, two Amazon employees have claimed that the company has put 25 percent of the employees in the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP). They say that in the coming times, the company can remove more employees. Amazon India, confirming the news of the trim, said that it is a global process.
