Tehri DM harvests wheat with the locals
Tehri’s DM Sonika visited the village of Dadur in Chamba Block and took stock of wheat harvest. She also participated in harvesting herself with the rural women.
She also inspected the village primary school, inter-college, health sub-center and public gallery shop. The DM also directed the Principal to provide regular water supply to the toilets made in schools and proper arrangements for the students to sit. On Tuesday, DM Sonika visited Dadur village of Chamba. DM has harvested the wheat crop with women working in fields. The villagers made the problem of damage to crops from wild animals before the DM. In addition, the demand for drinking water and road facility in the village is also kept.
The villagers said that the wild pigs and monkeys are harming their standing crops, they have to face economic losses. While inspecting the State Inter-College Dadur, the DM also instructed to arrange water in toilets of the school and to construct the gate at the entrance.
