Thousands pay obeisance at Badrinath on opening day
World’s famous Badrinath Dham has opened for the devotees today (Monday). From 3am in the morning, the process of opening the temple with the worship of the idols was started.
On Monday morning, the opening of Shri Badrinath temple at Brahmamuurat, at 4:29 am, begun with Shri Jai Badri Vishal chants. Thousands of pilgrims from the late night were standing in the queue waiting for the temple to open. Around half a kilometer long queue of pilgrims took place in the temple premises. The devotees were reciting Bhajan Kirtan in the premises.
Lord Badri Vishal is situated in the Padmasan posture in the temple situated at an altitude of ten thousand feet above sea level. Devotees can now pay obeisance at Shri Badrinath Dham throughout the summers. More than 5000 pilgrims were present in Badrinath Dham while opening the temple. A large number of devotees from all over the country are standing in queues for God’s blessings.
