12 injured in bus accident in Jaspur
A mini bus met with an accident while trying to save the young man and animal in Udham Singh Nagar’s Jaspur. Twelve people, including two teachers, were injured in the accident. Six of them have been referred to Kashipur.
At around 6.30 p.m. on Monday, a mini bus belongign to Paper Mill was returning with passengers. After leaving the riders in Jaspur, the driver was going to leave remaining passengers to Kashipur. He sat about 15 passengers on the subhash chowk to Kashipur. They also included about 10 teachers. The driver lost control of the bus while trying to avoid hitting stray animal and a bike rider near village Dhan Nagar. There was a loud noise just after the bus rolled up on its side. Passers pulled out the trapped passengers from the vehicle. The injured were taken to the government hospital.
