Driver fined Rs 59000 after new motor vehicle act comes into effect

The new Motor Vehicles Act has been implemented across India and now its impact is being seen everywhere. The first news came on Tuesday that Dinesh Madan, a resident of Delhi was fined Rs 23,000 in Gurugram. After this, the news came that 30-year-old Mohammed Mushtakil’s challan was of Rs 32,500 and now as per reports a tractor driver of Gurugram has been handed a fine of Rs 59,000. In fact, the Central Government has brought a new Motor Vehicles Act to prevent road accidents. Under this law, up to 10 times more fines will have to be paid if traffic rules are broken. Since the new rules were implemented a few days back three challans, are currently making headlines across the country.

Tractor driver gets fined of Rs 59,000

Tractor driver Ramgopal was challaned by Gurugram Traffic Police Rs 59,000  as he was without DL, without RC, without fitness certificate, without third party insurance, dangerous goods, high beams, overloading and dangerous driving.

The red light was broken by tractor driver Ram Gopal, where a motorcycle driver was also hit by his tractor. After this, when the Haryana Traffic Police asked for tractor papers from him which he was not carrying with him.

Scooty driver gets Rs 23000 fine due to these reasons

For driving without a driving license – fine of Rs 5000
For driving without registration certificate (RC) – challan of Rs 5000
No Third Party Insurance – 2000 challan
For breaking air pollution standard – a fine of Rs 10,000
For driving without helmet – a fine of Rs 1000

Dinesh Madan has said on this whole case that he had asked for the car papers from his house, but by then the Haryana Traffic Police cut his challan. Dinesh Madan says that the total price of his scooter (Scooty) at this time is Rs 15,000.

Auto rickshaw driver gets challan of Rs 32,500 at the Bristol Chowk in Gurugram on Wednesday. The auto driver did not have his registration certificate, driver’s license, pollution certificate and insurance papers with him.

What statement came on the incident?

The driver said on this matter that he had sought 10 minutes from the traffic police so that he could get the vehicle papers from the house, but the Haryana traffic police did not listen to him.
