With this win, Afghanistan took 2-0 lead in the three-match series against Bangladesh in Dehradun. Earlier, Bangladesh had set a target of 135 runs for Afghanistan. Rashid Khan was declared the Man of the Match. The last match of the series will be played on June 7.
On Tuesday, the second match of the Twenty20 series was played between Bangladesh and Afghanistan at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Dehradun. Bangladesh scored 134 for eight wickets. In reply, Afghanistan’s opening pair Mohammed Shahzad and Usman Ghani gave the team good start. Afghanistan lost the first wicket at 38 runs.
