Arbaaz Khan interrogated in IPL betting scam

Bollywood actor and producer Arbaaz Khan has admitted to betting in the crime branch. He also accepted talks and links with International Bookie Sonu Jalan. Thane Police Crime Branch questioned Arbaaz Khan for more than 3 hours.

Arbaaz Khan was interrogated in front of bookie Sonu. In this, 5 questions were asked from him. He was asked,

1. Did you bet with Sonu Jalan?

2. How do you know Sonu?

3. Did the family know about this?

4. How much money has been levied so far?

5. Did Jalan threaten him on the phone?

In response to these questions, Arbaaz told that he has not only been betting on IPL matches but also in international test matches. At the same time, he informed that he had a loss of around Rs 2.75 crore in the incurred last year in the IPL matches. Arbaaz said that for about 4-5 years he has been involved in this business. Actor Arbaaz revealed in the interrogation that his family always refused to betting. The family believed this was wrong, but he used to spend crores of rupees in cricket matches as a hobby. He also told that due to family tension, he was involved in sports betting because there was considerable fluctuation in his personal life and one reason for divorce from wife Malaika Arora is also being speculated because Malika always forbid him from betting.
Earlier, Thane Police’s Anti-Aciton Cell had summoned Arbaaz on Friday. The police has now lodged the statement of Arbaaz and has examined his links with the betting racket. Police had got pictures of Arbaaz with International Bookie Sonu Jalan. The police will also register a new case against Sonu Jalan. On behalf of Arbaaz, his brother Salman Khan’s legal team will keep his side in this case. In the morning, Arbaaz had reached the Crime Branch office with Salman’s bodyguard Shera.
