France defeat Argentina 4-3 to reach quarterfinals of Football World Cup

In the first pre-quarterfinal match of the FIFA World Cup being played in Russia, Argentina were knocked out by former champions France with a 4-3 scoreline. At One time score was 1-1 at half time. At the beginning of the second half Argentina had scored first to take a score 2-1 lead. But after that France scored the equalizer and scored two more goals to knockout the South American nation.
At the beginning of the game A for France. In the 13th minute of the game, Griezmann scored through a penalty kick to give his team a 1-0 lead. But in the 41st minute, Argentina’s A. DI Maria scored a field goal from left kick, leveling 1-1. This score retained till half time. But in the beginning of the second half, Argentinean Mercado In the 48th minute, scored a goal to give Argentina 2-1 lead. Now call it Argentina’s self-confidence or something else, but after this, France attacked and kept its pressure on Argentina and  got its full benefit.
In the 57th minute of the match, P. Pavard, brought France back to 2-2. After just six minutes, the Mbappe had passed another taking France 3-2 ahead. This goal boosted the morale of France so that the French team scored a fourth goal against Argentina. This goal also came after four minutes through Mbappe.

For France, this match is not going to be easy as it did not get a tough opponent in the group round. Now, with strong teams like Argentina with the likes of Messi it had to be very cautious.  Before this match France had conceded a goal in this World Cup and had scored three goals. It is the only team that played a goaless draw in this World Cup. Frane played the draw with Denmark in its last match of the group stages in FIFA World Cup 2018.
