This has increased the number of vehicles on the roads. It also affects the Roorkee-Haridwar highway on every weekend. The police administration also prepares plans to deal with the coming crowd of vehicles. Despite this, due to high pressure of vehicles, the situation of the jam is created on every weekend.

On Saturdays, the Roorkee-Haridwar highway was packed with vehicles from Military Chowk to Solani bridge. Due to which the drivers faced a lot of trouble. Jam on the military chowk stopped the speed of the four wheeler vehicles. In the scorching sunlight, people were seen sweating to get out of the jam. In many places people did not even get water to drink. It took more than an hour for people stranded in the jam to reach Malkpur Chungi from the military square.

Normal days take only a few minutes to complete this distance. The police opened the jam on the highway after hardships. After this people felt relieved. The pressure of vehicles on Roorkee-Haridwar highway had increased greatly since Saturday morning. After driving the vehicles on the other side, it was difficult to open the jam.
