Chinese troops infiltrate border in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district

After the activities of Chinese soldiers in Doklam, there is now a notification that Chinese soldiers were seen 200 meters in the Indian border of Tanjun La of Chamoli district. After these reports, Chamoli’s district administration has sent a team of 18 officers to the spot. Although officially the intrusion of Chinese troops has not been confirmed. Sources of ITBP say that on 3rd, 6th, 8th and 10 July, the Chinese troops entered 200 meters inside the border line in Tanjun La. On July 8, 32 soldiers appeared in vehicles and horses. On July 10 Chinese troops were seen again on motorcycles. The soldiers returned after ITBP protested. Following this information, the District Administration of Chamoli has sent a team of officers under the leadership of Naresh Kumar. A team of officers is sent every year in Barahoti  in August. But this time the team has been sent in July instead of August. Chamoli’s DM Swati Bhadauriya confirmed the team’s arrival.
