CM Rawat order suspension of two officers for Dhumakot bus accident
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has instructed the Chief Secretary to place under suspension S.O., Dhumakot and ARTO for prima facie negligence in the bus accident that took place near Dhumakot on Sunday. The Chief Minister also ordered the PWD department to repair the damaged roads of the state.
He also instructed to ensure placement of a JCB machine at every three kilometer particularly in hilly areas in view of the heavy rains and monsoon season. He said that a magisterial inquiry has been ordered into the bus accident and strict action will be taken against officer/employees found guilty.
Chief Minister also instructed that action should also be undertaken against heli companies operating in the state which show negligence in providing immediate services in case of emergencies. The civil aviation department has been given these instructions. The Chief Minister also instructed the administrative officials to keep an eye on the situation in the wake of prediction of heavy rains in the state in the next two days.
