Cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur loses DSP post over Fake Degree row
India’s star woman cricketer and captain of Indian women’s T-20 cricket team, Harmanpreet Kaur has received a big setback. Harmanpreet’s has lost her DSP post in Punjab Police. In the on going row over her alleged fake BA degree, the Punjab government has snatched her DSP rank and she is being made Constable. The Punjab Police had raised questions after the inquiry over Harmanpreet’s BA degree.
On the other hand, Harmanpreet has said no official information about this has been received. In the case of Harmanpreet Kaur’s certificate of graduation, the Punjab government had sought information from the railway. After receiving the report from there, the Punjab government has taken action. When asked about the action of the Punjab government, the manager of Harmanpreet Kaur said, “We have not received official letter from Punjab Police regarding the removal of Harmanpreet from the job. There is some problem with the degree in this case, but the same certificates were deposited in the railway. How can they be fake? ”
Harmanpreet used to work in the Railways before joining the Punjab Police job. Harmanpreet Kaur’s graduation certificate has been questioned and this has created a threat to her DSP’s job. The Punjab Police on the basis of the report of Chaudhary Charan Singh University of Meerut had claimed he degree submitted to be fake.
