Janshatabdi to run between Kathgodam and Dehradun
Railway has started preparing for running Janshatabdi train from Kathgodam railway station to Dehradun. After the high level meeting in the matter, authorities have pulled the blueprint to run the train. However, departmental officials are avoiding speaking openly in the matter.
Kathgodam-Dehradun express runs the only train between Kathgodam and the capital Dehradun. This train departs at 7.45 pm and leaves passengers at Doon Station at 4.20 am. Now in the morning, the railways has started preparing another train between Doon and Kathgodam. The train will arrive in Dehradun in the morning and reach the Kathgodam at night by taking riders from there.
Railway sources said that due to no train on the route at the time of morning, there is a plan to run trains from Kathgodam to Doon. In the last few days, senior officials of the state have also discussed with railway officials. It is worth mentioning that the demand for running a train during Kathgodam Dehradun in the morning has been rising for a long time. If this train runs, then there will be a big gift for the entire Kumaon.
These will be the timing of the new Dehradun Kathgodam Janshatabdi train
Janshatabdi will depart from Kathgodam railway station at 5:30 am and reach Dehradun at 12 noon.
After departing from Doon station at around 4 o’clock in the evening, it will reach Kathgodam railway station at around 11 o’clock in the night.
