Mob lynches Google Engineer in Karnataka

In Bidar, Karnataka, an engineer has lost his life in the case of mob lynching. The software engineer of Hyderabad was been beaten by the crowd in the rumor of the child kidnapping. 3 others have also been badly injured.

According to the police, the mob beat the 32-year-old Mohammed Azam Ahmed to death accusing him of child lifting. Mohammad Azam Ahmad, a resident of Malkpat, Hyderabad, was an engineer in Google. It is being told that Mohammed Azam, Bashir, Salman and Akram, who lived in Hyderabad, had come to meet Bidar to meet their friend.

According to reports, one of them started distributing chocolate to the children while returning from here. At that time the rumor spread on the WhatsApp about child kidnapping. After this, a large number of villagers gathered and they attacked the four people.

When the news of this incident reached the police all the officers reached the spot, the Bidar SP himself saved the lives of the engineer’s three friends. But the three are badly wounded. The injured have been admitted to the government hospital in Bidar.
According to the police, 30 people have been arrested in connection with Mob Lynching. While on WhatsApp, the police has also arrested the group admin who spread rumors of theft. At the same time, the police has arrested the person who circulated the fake news on Whatsapp.

This is not the first case of mob lynching in recent times, earlier in the Dhule district of Maharashtra, the villagers had beaten five people in suspected kidnapping gang last year. In Dhule, the villagers suspected that 5 known people could be child lifters. After this the villagers first struck them with brick and then locked them inside the rooms and brutally beaten them. They were so mercilessly beaten in the room that five people had died on the spot. At the same time, in Ahmedabad in Gujarat, the mob had beaten up a 40-year-old woman in a suspected attempt to steal a child.
