Mobile trader shot dead in Haldwani

Kush Bakshi, young businessman of Gauri Communication was shot dead by a Retired Armyman in front of the tri-junction on the Bholanath Garden Road on Kaladhungi Road.

After the controversy over mobile repairing, an argument broke out between the two over the incident. Bystanders and traders gathered after hearing the sound of the bullet firing from a gun. The accussed has been handed over to the police after fiercely beaten by the mob. The tragedy has spread panic among the traders with in this incident.

Kush Bakshi son of late Kuldeep Bakshi, 37, living in Kohli Gardens on Nainital road had a mobile shop named after Gauri Communication on the route to Bholanath Garden near Kaladhugi intersection. Mohan Singh Rawat an ex army man resident of Bageshwar came to his shop to get his mobile repaired.

Mohan and Kush got in a heated argument about mobile repairing. Mohan threw the mobile at the photo of Kush’s father in a fit of rage. The photo broke due to this. After this, there was a slight tussle between the two. At that time the matter got settled down by the people.
After this, at eight o’clock in the evening, Mohan reached out to the shop with a gun of 312 bore in a state of intoxication. When Mohan entered the shop, he fired the gun kept on the cheek of Kush. With the bullet, Kush’s face burst completely and he fell to the ground in the counter.

All the bystanders were shocked to see this incident. When Mohan started to load the gun again for the second shot, then people caught him. Angry people beat Mohan very furiously. When the incident was detected, the police rushed to the spot and arrested Mohan Rawat.
