Rajinikanth starrer movie to be shot in Dehradun and Mussoorie
A Tamil film is being shot in Uttarakhand soon. K.S.Chauhan, nodal officer of Uttarakhand Film Development Council informed that the council has given permission for the shooting of Tamil film of Friday. South Indian film superstar Rajinikanth is playing the lead role in the film which is being produced by Sun TV Network limited, Chennai.
Rajinder Ghimre, Line Producer said that the shooting of the Tamil film is going on in other states also. The film will now be shot in Dehradun and Mussoorie in which south Indian superstar Rajnikanth will be in lead role. He said that Rajinikanth is enamored by the natural beauty of Uttarakhand.
K.S.Chauhan, nodal officer of Uttarakhand Film Development Council said that film makers of south India like the locations of Uttarakhand which has resulted in big budget south Indian films being shot in the state. He hoped that shooting of more big budget films will be held in Uttarakhand. It is to remembered that in the past two months shooting of “student of the year-2,’ ‘Batti Gul, Meter Chalu’ and Tamil film starring Mahesh Babu, one dozen television serials and a regional film were given permission to shoot in Uttarakhand.
