Youth dies after being run over by roadways bus in Kashipur

Roadways bus from Ramnagar to Kashipur hit a young man. In this, the young man died on the spot. On receiving the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and took possession of the bus. While driver and  operator of the bus fled from the spot.

Bhagat Singh (33 years old), son Vir Singh resident of Almora, stayed in a rented room in his village Rampura with his family. He used to work in various hotels in Kashipur. His wife Veeran also works in Shivangi Paper Mill.

Bhagat went to work on Saturday morning. After this his wife also went to work. At around seven in the evening, Bhagat was crossing the road in front of Shivangi Paper Mill. During this, the roadways bus of Ramnagar Depot hit him, which led to his death.

In the funeral, the villagers reported the incident to the deceased’s wife. While a passenger on the bus phone called the police and gave information. Meanwhile, the driver-operative escaped from the spot.
