New weather system to be active from March 30, rain expected in many parts of the country

The weather took a turn after light to moderate rains in the states of North India, bringing respite from the rising temperatures usually seen in March. According to the Meteorological Department, a new Western Disturbance will reach the Western Himalayas by March 30. Due to which a new round of rain will start.

This system can cover Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Odisha to West Bengal and many parts of the country. Light to moderate rain and snow are expected over Western Himalayas and Arunachal Pradesh during the next 24 hours.

However, due to rains in the last two-three days in many areas of NCR including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, there is a slight coolness in the weather.

Temperatures to rise in MP

The next two days will be hot in Madhya Pradesh. Day-night mercury will increase by up to 3 degree Celsius in most of the cities. At the same time, the weather will change from March 29-30. There is a possibility of light drizzle in some cities of Rewa, Jabalpur, Ujjain divisions including Gwalior-Chambal.

Delhi: Sunshine after the rain

The minimum temperature in the capital on Monday morning was 16.7 degrees Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be clear throughout the day. At the same time, the temperature can remain 31 degree Celsius. Earlier on Sunday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 31 degree Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 15.8 degree Celsius.

Chance of rain and hail in 5 divisions of Rajasthan

As soon as the effect of Western Disturbance subsided in Rajasthan, an increase in the temperature of many cities was recorded on Sunday. Now the weather will remain dry for two days and the trend of rise in temperature will also continue. After this, once again from March 29, a new Western Disturbance will be active in the state. During this, there is a possibility of thunderstorm, rain and hailstorm in 5 divisions.
