Bopanna-Divij give India its 6th Gold medal in Asian Games 2018

India got gold medal in men’s doubles of tennis. Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan defeated Kazakhstan pair by 6-3, 6-4 in the final match. Earlier, Ankita Raina of India had won the bronze medal in the Singles match. This is the second gold medal won by India on the sixth day.

Earlier, Dattu Bhokanal, Om Prakash, Swarn Singh and Sukhmeet Singh gave gold medal to India in Quadruple Sculls of Rowing. The Indian team secured first place in the final with a time of 6 minutes and 17.13 sec. The silver medal of the event was won by Indonesia and bronze medalĀ  byThailand.

Indian player Dushyant gave a good start by giving India the first medal in the 18th Asian Games on Friday. Dushyant won a bronze medal in the men’s lightweight single sculley final in the yachting, finishing third in the final. After this, Rohit Kumar and Bhagwan Singh gave the bronze medal to the men’s lightweight doubles sculls.
