Max Verstappen wins Dutch Grand Prix
Max Verstappen regained the Formula 1 top driver leader board spot with a long-awaited home win. The Dutch Red Bull star won the race on Sunday edging out in front of title rival Lewis Hamilton to his seventh win of the season and drove the tens of thousands at Zandvoort, into a sea of jubilation. Starting from the pole position Verstappen didn’t let up till the end winning the race in front of his home crowd.

Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas finished in second and third places at the Dutch Grand Prix 2021. The 23 year old Belgian-born Max Verstappen had a flawless drive and is now ahead of Hamilton in the classification ahead of the race in Italy next Sunday. This was Verstappen’s seventh win of the 2021 season taking him three points ahead of second placed Lewis Hamilton in the drivers leader board.
