Consortium of National Law Universities has made major changes in the pattern of CLAT-UG. The question paper of CLAT-UG 2024 will now have 120 questions instead of 150. CLAT will be held on December 3 this year. This time the candidates will also get the option of other languages including Hindi in the paper. The 120 questions will be distributed in the existing five sections – English Language, Current Affairs Including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques.
Examination is held for admission in 23 National Law Universities of the country
CLAT is organized for admission in 23 National Law Universities of the country. Apart from this, many other private universities and colleges also give admission on the basis of CLAT score. For admission in UG course, those students of general and other backward classes will be eligible, who have passed 12th with 45 percent marks.
There is a compulsion of minimum 40 percent marks for SC/ST students. Students going to take 12th exam can also apply.
