Probe on for flesh trade racket in shelter home in UP’s Deoria

Like Muzaffarpur in Bihar, police have busted a large flesh trade racket, which was running from a shelter home for girls in Deoria. On Sunday night, this case was exposed when a girl fled from the house and approached the police station and pleaded with the police. On the instructions of the SP, it was sealed by releasing 24 children and women from the institution. Three including the director, superintendent, were arrested by the police late night. The police claim that 18 children are still missing from this institution, who are being investigated.
The government has suspended  the recognition of  Girl child shelter home,Child Home and  the Expert Adoption Agency and reforment services being run by Maa Vindhyavasini Women’s Training and Social Services Institute. Even after this, girls, infants and women were being kept in the institution. On Sunday, a girl coming from Bihar fled form the house. Somehow she reached the Women’s Police Station and told the police about her ordeal.
On the instructions of SP, the police reached the organization and released 24 children & women from there. Talking to the journalists late in the police line late last night, Superintendent of Police Rohan P. Kanai said that there has been a conversation with the children there. He has talked about illegal activities of 15 to 18 year old girls living in the institution. While sealing the institution, the chairperson Kanchanlata, Director Girija Tripathi and Mohan Tripathi have been arrested. Now 18 children and girls are missing. Responsibility has been entrusted to CO City and District Provisioning Officer for its investigation.
