All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2019 to be held on May 5

National Law University, Delhi has declared the date of All India Law Entrance Test (AILET). The examination will take place on May 5, 2019. Candidates will be able to apply online in January.

AILET is organized for admission in three courses. Including five-year BA LLB (Hons), one-year LL.M. and PhD. There will be negative marking in the examination. If the answer to a question is incorrect, then 0.25 points of the candidate will be deducted. That is, one mark will be deducted for four incorrect answers. The entrance test will take place on May 5 from 3 PM to 4: 30 PM. zzthe detailed program of examination will be released in January. Candidates, should keep an eye on NLU Delhi’s official website.

Admission test for BA LLB is of 150 marks. In which 10 marks are allotted to mathematics and English, General Knowledge, Reasoning and Legal Aptitude will have a section of 35-35 marks.

Educational Qualification for AILET 2019

BA LLB: Students applying for a five-year BA LLB (Hons) course must have passed 12th with at least 50 percent marks in any subject. Students appearing for the 12th exam can also apply.

LL.M.: Applicants for LL.M. must have LLB degree with at least 55% marks from any recognized institution. SC-ST and handicapped students have been given five percent relaxation.

PhD: Master Degree with minimum of 55% marks in any recognized university or a degree in law or PhD in any subject or at least 55% marks in Social Science or M.Ed.
