Hardik Pandaya stretchered out in Asia cup match against Pakistan

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya had to be taken out on the stretcher from the ground during an Asia Cup Group stage match against Pakistan on Wednesday due to a severe back pain. This incident took place in the 18th over of match when this all-rounder was bowling his fifth over. After Pandya delivered his fifth ball, he felt a severe pain in the lower part hs back and he was lying on the field in pain. After that he could not get up and he had to be taken out on the stretcher for medical examination.
The BCCI media team reported that Hardik Pandya’s lower back pain was a major pain. The BCCI said that the all rounder was able to stand up later and the medical team is assessing his injury. In his place, Manish Pandey was on the field as a substitute for Hardik. Pandya gave 24 runs in 4.5 overs without any wicket. Pakistan were bowled out for 163 batting first.
