Joint Indo-American military exercise to begin in Ranikhet from Sept 16
Preparation for ‘Joint Military War Practice-2018’ has been completed between two major countries of the world, India and America. The US military has reached Chaubatia Cantonment area in Ranikhet of Almora district. From September 16, the 14th Combined military exercise between India and US Army will begin on ‘Counter-Insurgency and Counter Terrorism’ theme. During the two-week long military exercises, the full focus will be on how to end the challenge of global terrorism.
This ‘joint military warfare exercise’ is being considered very important among India and the United States to strengthen defense cooperation and strategic relations. According to military sources, the ‘Counter-insurgency and counter terrorism’ theme is associated with aspects of terrorism and internal security, the exercise with last from September 16 to September 29, Indo-American forces will showcase the war strategy. On Friday, a US troops group arrived in Almora’s Chaubatia. The Indian Army warmly welcomed the guests and soldiers. Now, on Sunday, Garud Maidan will be the training grounds for the two nations.
