Medical shops to remain closed in Dehradun on September 28

All the medicine shops will be closed on 28th September in Dehradun, under the nationwide chemist bandh against the proposal to regularize the sale of online medicines by the central government.
The law that recognizes Internet pharmacy by holding a demonstration under the banner of the District Chemist Association will also be opposed. The Association warned that if the demands were not met even after the strike, then the Association member will carryout nationwide strike.

In connection with the closure of nationwide one-day chemists shops, a meeting was organized by the association in a hotel on Wednesday. Association president Sandeep Malhotra said that the proposal to regularize the sale of online medicines by the central government and protest against the internet pharmacy will be protested across the country.

This will also effect chemist shops in Dehradun. Malhotra said that if the demands are not fulfilled even then, then the Association will strike nationwide.
