Uttarakhand U-19 cricket team trials on from September 7 to 9
For the selection of Uttarakhand under-19 cricket team, open registration process of players will start from September 5. Players can register in Dehradun, Kashipur and Haldwani. 7th to 9th September will be the initial trial. After this, the final selection of players will be done from 13th to 15th September. Divya Nautiyal, secretary of the Uttarakhand Cricket Association, has been made the coordinator for team selection.
Convener of Uttarakhand Consensus Committee Prof. Ratnakar Shetty told through the Mail that on Saturday, that open registration process will be organized at Dehradun’s Tanush Cricket Academy, Haldwani’s Malakani Cricket Academy and Highlander Cricket ground in Kashipur on September 5 and September 6, from 10 am to 4 pm. Interested players will have to submit certificate of birth certificate, high school and intermediate certificates for registration. Players will not be registered without these documents.
Apart from this, the players who do not have the domicile of Uttarakhand will have to give a certificate of two years’ stay in Uttarakhand for registration. The player can get form from the district units with the selected ground for the trial. After registration, there will be primary trial from 7 to 9 September in Dehradun, Kashipur and Haldwani. In the first phase, the final trial of selected players will be held in Dehradun’s Tanush Cricket Cricket Academy from 13 to 15 September.
Where Players can Register
In Dehradun: players from other places including Uttarakashi, Chamoli, Rudraprayag, Tehri Garhwal, Dehradun, Pauri Garhwal, Haridwar and Roorkee can give trial.
In Haldwani: Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Nainital, Almora and Haldwani players can register.
In Kashipur: Players of Champawat, Udham Singh Nagar, Bajpur, Gadarpur, Jaspur, Rudrapur and Kashipur can register.
