Sonu Sood Kangana Ranaut involved in war of words over Manikarnika movie

Kangana Ranaut’s film Manikarnika is already in dispute before the release. Sometimes due to its release date, sometimes due to its star cast the film has consistently been in the spotlight. According to latest news, actor Sonu Sood is out of the movie cast. Recently, Kangana revealed about Sonu. She also said that Sonu does not want to work with a female director. Sonu Sood responded in a counter reply to Kangana’s statements.

Sonu said – I want to say Manikarnika’s team best of luck. Kangana is my good friend and will remain so. But she is constantly playing the Women Card, Victim Card with me. This is absurd. When Sonu was asked  about Kangana’s statement about him not wanting to work with a female director, Sonu said, “What is the gender of the director is not an issue. It’s about capibility. I have worked with Farah Khan. She specializes in her work. She has a good friendship with me.”

Earlier, Kangna had recently said in an interview, “I did not meet Sonu Sood since shooting at the end of last year. He is busy shooting for Simba film. Even he could not even make a date with the rest of the cast to  fix a date for the shooting for the film. He refused to work. Sonu is my friend and on his request, I also launched a song of his film which was produced by him. Sonu did not have dates for the film.” Kangna had also said that Sonu does not want to work with female directors.

Kangna further said- When I talked to him last time he suggested to find another actor. After this, when I sent the  script of the film to Zeeshan Ayyub then he gave his consent to work, but he gave a date in September. By then it was quite late. When Kangna was asked whether Sonu’s scenes shot for the movie be retained, then Kangana’s response was “No”. The scenes shot by him will not be included in the film. Those scenes will be shot again. ”
