Team Uttarakhand registers its ever first win in Vijay Hazare trophy

In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Uttarakhand won tits first match ever of the BCCI’s domestic season by defeating Puducherry by 64 runs thanks to the brilliant century of opener Karanveer Kaushal. Karanveer selected Player of the Match for his 114 ballscentury which included nine fours and two sixes.

In the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Uttarakhand team had to face defeat by five wickets in the first match against Bihar. The batting of Uttarakhand, which was playing for the first time in domestic tournaments, was scattered under pressure. But, in the second match the batsmen played their more natural game.

In the second match played between Uttarakhand and Puducherry in Shastri Maidan, Gujarat, Puducherry won the toss and invited Uttarakhand to bat. However, opener Vineet Saxena, who scored half-century in the first match, went back to the pavilion after scoring only one run. Karanveer and Vaibhav Bhatt pushed the innings forward.

Both shared a 173-run partnership for the second wicket. Karanveer fell when the score was 175. Vaibhav Bhat played a magnificent innings of 73 runs.
