Woman burnt and killed by in-laws in Udham Singh Nagar

A case of killing of a married woman has come to light in Udham Singh Nagar.The in-laws of the married woman have confessed to burning the body in the forest. Police have recovered the bones and ashes of the deceased from the forest of Banna Kheda.

According to the police, Naseeb Kaur village resident of Kua Khedi gave a plea in the police station. In that she said that his granddaughter Aman was married to 6 years ago. On this day of Rakshabandhan she went to her house to meet her granddaughter. After not finding Aman there, she questioned her in-laws.
The in-laws saidthat Aman has gone without informing anyone in the house with gold and 12 thousand cash. Naseeb Kaur was not convinced on this and she demanded action from the police by filing a complaint.

Seeing that no action was taken by the police, the victim’s family met SSP, Sadanand Date. On the instructions of SSP the police filed the case and started investigations. During the investigation, the police detained the woman’s husband, mother-in-law, father-in-law for question.
According to the police incharge Lalit Mohan Joshi, after two days of interrogation, the families accepted the murder. They told that they killed Aman Kaur and burnt the body in the forest of Banna Kheda. On their trail, the police reached the forest of Banna Kheda on Saturday and recovered the bones and ashes of Aman.
