Younger brother throws acid on elder brother’s family in Almora

A person under the influence of alcohol attacked his elder brother’s family with acid. Eight people were injured in this. All were brought to the district hospital. Given the delicate condition of two of the injured, they have referred them to Haldwani. The acid attacker later also put acid on himself. The state police is currently investigating the case.

On the Almora-Pithoragarh highway, Raghunath Singh, a resident of Dashaun village, 24 km from Almora district headquarters, works in the forests. Meanwhile, the accused Raghunath Singh took a can of five liters and entered his elder brother Sher Singh’s house and put acid on his brother’s family members. After attacking them withacid, Raghunath himself threw acid on his own head after coming to the courtyard of the house.
