Internet outage can effect world over in the next 48 hours
Users can have trouble using the internet within the next 48 hours. According to a report by Russia Today, Internet users can get an error of Connection Failure. Because for some time the main domain and connected network infrastructure will remain down.
The Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) will perform maintenance of cryptographic keys, which can affect users. Changes to cryptographic keys are being done to secure the internet address book, the name system (DNS). According to ICANN, it has become necessary to do so due to increasing cyber attacks.
Communication Regulatory Authority said in a statement, “If the Internet Service Providers have not prepared for this change, then some users may be affected by this. However, to avoid its effect, you can enable System Security Extensions.
In the next 48 hours, Internet users may also have problems in opening web pages and transcribing. Users of old Internet Service Providers can also have trouble accessing the global network.
