David Schwimmer aka Ross Gellar from popular TV show Friends took to social media to prove his alibi after screenshots from CCTV footage showed his doppelgänger stealing beers from a store in the UK. In a funny recreation of the incident Schwimmer posted “Officers, I swear it wasn’t me. As you can see, I was in New York. To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation.#itwasntme”.

The theft which took place in Blackpool UK last month was in the news not for the crime but for the thief bearing an uncanny resemblance to actor David Schwimmer.
