Kashmiri student studying in Dehradun suspected of joining terrorist organization

22-year-old Shoaib Ahmad Lone, 22-year-old terrorist of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen was a student of IT third year in an institute located in Premnagar police station of Dehradun. He did not come back after returning home after taking the exam in January. Four months ago, the institute sent a letter to Shoaib’s family regarding his absence. Then the people of his house started looking for him. In the meantime, Shoaib’s pictures in terrorist outfits became viral on social media. After that the army and police started looking for him. Jammu-Kashmir Police also contacted Uttarakhand Police.

The case of student studying in Premnagar area of Dehradun joining terrorist organization has become a hot topic of discussion among the locals. According to police sources, after shocking photographs and videos with Shoaib Ahmed Lone with banned organizations surfaced in social media, his mother contacted the army and police officials five days ago in Kashmir and requested to bring Shoaib back. Since then, intelligence agencies have also been in alert mode to gather information about Shoaib. It is being told, came to Dehradun in 2015. Here he enrolled in BSc IT.
After taking the third year examination in January 2018, he took leave and went home. After several weeks of passing, when he did not return, the institute sent a letter to his family. Then the people also came to know that Shoaib is neither in Dehradun nor in Kashmir. In the meanwhile, there was a stir in the social media showing the viral photos and videos with Shoaib.
