Political leaders pay tributes to ND Tiwari in Lucknow

The body of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister ND Tiwari was brought to Lucknow on Saturday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav were present at Lucknow airport, along with other members including ND Tiwari’s wife Ujjwala and son Rohit Shekhar, including deputy CM Dinesh Sharma, Assembly Speaker Harda Narayan Dikshit, Chief Secretary Anup Chandra Pandey and DGP OP Singh were also present.

After this, the body of ND was taken to the Vidhan bhavan. Where the conference in the memory of the former UP CM was organized in the Vidhan Bhavan, the Governor of the state Ramnayak and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave him tributes.

On Thursday, ND Tiwari breathed last at Max Hospital, Delhi’s Saket. He was 93 years old. Mulayam Singh Yadav and Rohit Shekhar with Governor Ramnayak  were present for the last glimpse of ND Tiwari.

Last rites to be performed in Haldwani

The body of former Uttarakhand and UP Chief Minister, Narayan Dutt Tiwari, reached Pantnagar today evening at 4:20 pm from Air Ambulance from Lucknow. And then, about an hour later, left for Haldwani.
Meanwhile, a large number of people including Late ND Tiwari’s wife Ujjwala Sharma, son Rohit Shekhar, Cabinet Minister Arvind Pandey, UP State Minister Irrigation Baldev Aulakh, Leader of the Opposition Indira Hridayesh, former MLA Harish Durgapal and Balraj Pasi were present.

The body will be kept for public viewing on Sunday in Haldwani Circuit House. In the afternoon at one o’clock, he will be cremated at the Chitrashila ghat with state honor. There are many VVIP probables expected in tomorrow.
