Schedule for Destination Uttarakhand: Investors summit 2018

The entire program of Investors Summit, to be organized on 7th and 8th October in Dehradun, has been finalized. During the summit, 12 sessions will be held in two days. They will take expert views on tourism, infrastructure, construction, film industry, agriculture, industrial, health, wellness, micro, small and medium industries. Each session will be chaired by Union Ministers or subject experts. Theme pavilion has been created at the venue of the Investor Summit. 70 tents have been installed in this. These tents will showcase the products of Uttarakhand.

The inaugural program will be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Trivandrum Singh Rawat and CII’s DG Chandrajit Banerjee, Ambassador of Japan and the Czech Republic, and Singapore’s Minister S. Ishwaran and by many well-known industrialists. After the departure of the Prime Minister’s program, technical sessions will begin. In the first phase, there will be four sessions of construction, tourism, infrastructure and Czech Republic.
This session will be run parallel in different halls. In the Czech Republic, Milan Ambassador Milan Hovorka and the chief secretary of the Finance Department of Czech Republic will address the gathering. The second phase will be the session of Film, Information and Technology and Japan. Apart from Ambassador Kenji Hiramatsu in Japan’s session, Toru Umachi, Takashi and Suchi Umaiki of Japanese delegation will also address the investors. In the evening, all the investors will go to Rishikesh, where the famous singer Anuradha Paadwal will present Ganga Aarti. On the second day of the summit i.e. Monday 8th October, three sessions will be held in the morning.

They will be run in parallel to agriculture and industrial, health and wellness and MSME and CII sessions. In the second phase, subject experts will discuss education and start-up topics in the afternoon. The closing session will be held in the afternoon. The government is expecting the around 1600 industrialists and their representatives to attend the inagural Uttarakhand Investor Summit. The government has arranged food for all these delegates.
They will own their own living arrangements. 12 rooms have been prepared at the venue. Here, the industrialists will meet with the officials of different departments to discuss investment, such as availability of land, information related to related industries etc.

Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat says that the first investor summit in the state is going to happen and Uttarakhand is fully prepared for this. The Summit is expected to investments worth Rs 77,000 crore. In the conference, investors will play their part in different areas. In the state, efforts will be made to bring investment not only in the automobile sector but also in areas such as hospitality, tourism, yoga, solar energy. Apart from this, employment opportunities in the hill areas will also be created and the economy of the state will be strengthened.
‘Destination Uttarakhand: Investor’s Summit’ will open the door to the economic prosperity of the state, it will also give opportunity to the guests of the country and abroad to be impressed with the glimpse of entire Uttarakhand culture.
