Uttarakhand Ayurved University turmoil continues; registrar suspended

Registrar of Ayurveda University Dr Mrityunjay Mishra has been suspended. He has been suspended due to Vigilance Investigation going on against him in posts recruitment, financial irregularities, scandal related inquiries. In the suspension period, half salary will be payable to Mishra.
In April, Mrityunjay Mishra was removed from the post of Registrar and attached to the government. The order was canceled by the High Court two days ago. After this, Mrityunjay Mishra had come to the University on Saturday to take charge, but he was stopped at the gate.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Abhimanyu Kumar sent a letter to the governor saying that since the Vigilance investigation is ongoing against Dr Mrityunjay Mishra. With his standing in the post of Registrar, the investigationĀ against appointment, financial irregularities, investigations related to scandals, can be influenced. Assuming this to be the basis, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli issued an order to immediately suspend him.

Under the order, it has been said that during the suspension period, Dr. Mishra will be given half salary for the maintenance of life under the provisions of financial rules collection. All payments will be made only when Dr. Mishra submits the certificate of the intention that he is not making money from any other employment or business.
