9 dead in California forest fire; death toll increases to 23

In the state of California of the United States, a forest fire has created a devastating catastrophe. Rescue workers recovered 9 people dead in the fire. The number of people who have lost their lives in the incident has increased to 23. Giving information in a press conference, local sheriff Corey Honia said, “Today 14 more bodies were removed, after which the total number of dead has increased to 23.”
The fierce fire in the forests of northern California is spreading rapidly. It is being described as the most horrific fire in the history of the state of California. Thousands of people living in the surrounding areas have been forced to flee their homes by taking their children and pets away from the danger zone. In the panic of this fierce fire, an entire city was vacant. Thousands of homes in these areas were devastated after being hit by the fire.
Every person in the town of Paradise which has a population of around 27,000, and is about 290 kilometers away from San Francisco, has been instructed to evacuate. A local resident of the town said that she was forced to leave her house when she saw the flames engulf many nearby houses causing explosion. She said, ‘things have started to explode. People are running away from their homes in vehicles or on foot from there.”
According to the country’s fire fighting agency, due to fire, thousands of buildings have also been damaged. In Northern California, 80 to 90 percent of homes have been destroyed. An official told that bodies of nine people have been recovered. At the same time, thousands of people have migrated from here.

California’s acting governor, Gavin Newmom, has announced the state of emergency in northern California. Due to the rapidly spreading fire, the order has been ordered to completely clear the Paradise city with a population of 27,000, which is about 290 km from San Francisco. Strong winds in the area, are helping the fire to spread quickly, trees and plants in about 15,000 acres of area in Ventura County were engulfed in the forest fire.
