95 lakh aspirants apply for 10000 vacancies in railways

In the beginning of 2018, about 2 crore applications were revived for 1 lakh vacancies of Group C and D declared at the beginning of the year by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). But this time, for the recruitment announced by the Railways, all the records have been broken; 95 lakh candidates applied for 10 thousand posts. It has been seen in the last recruitment that lakhs of people with higher educational degrees have also applied for the smallest post.

So far 95 lakh applications received for 10000 vacancies by RRB

Thousands of Ph.D. holders applied for the vacancy of the messenger declared by the UP police. This news was a topic of discussion. In the past, applications were invited for 9739 posts to recruit security forces on behalf of Indian Railways. Applications of Constable and Sub-Inspector have been applied to both men and women. So far, about 95 lakh applications have been received for these recruitments. Now the Railway Recruitment Board is thinking about how to test such a number of people.

Sub-Inspector’s 1,120 posts are vacant

The Railway Protection Force (RPF) has declared 8,619 recruitments for the constable and 1,120 recruitments for the sub-inspector. According to the news published in a news website, 95 lakh 51 thousand applications have been received for both these posts. Having a large number of applications will prove to be a challenge in organizing the examination. Centralized computerized systems will be prepared to deal with this. This system will be divided according to the zone. RRB had organized computer based test (CBT) on receipt of applications in large number of Group C and Group D examinations in the past.

On 31 May 2018, the notification was issued on behalf of the Railway Protection Force for recruitment of total 9739 posts of the Constable and sub-inspector. Of these 8619 posts were for the constable, while 1120 were of the sub-inspector. The online application process for the posts has been completed on June 30, 2018. Admit cards will be released for posts related to December 9.
