Earthquake tremors felt in Pithoragarh and Bageshwar
Earthquake tremors have been felt in Pithoragarh district and Bageshwar in Uttarakhand. A five magnitude earthquake was measured on the Richter scale. These shocks were felt at 12.37 minutes in the afternoon. At the same time, the center of the earthquake is being shown to be at the Indo-Nepal border. There is panic in people since the shocks were felt.
Earthquake tremors were felt in most areas of Pithoragarh district on Sunday. After which all the people came out of their homes. Earthquake tremors were felt in Pithoragarh, Didihat, Munsyari and Dharchula. However, Kapkot area of Bageshwar district has also been affected by this.
At the same time, it is being told that the second shock was felt in Dharchula of Pithoragarh about eight minutes later. However, there is no news of any damage from the earthquake anywhere in the district.
Uttarakhand has been considered as highly susceptible zone to earthquake. Large earthquakes have also occurred here in Uttarkashi and Chamoli, which resulted in the death of many people.
