Maruti Suzuki Wagon-R 2019 edition launched price starts at Rs 4.19 lakh
The country’s leading car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki, has launched a new variant of the WagonR after a long wait. The car has been launched in a total of 7 variants. The price of the basic model of the car is 4.19 lakh and the top variant is worth 5.69 lakh rupees.
Top variant worth Rs 5.69 lakh
Maruti WagonR’s 1.0 liter engine with LXi variants will cost 4.19 lakh rupees. The ZXi model equipped with 1.2 liter engine will be available for Rs 5.69 lakh. This variant is equipped with Automatic Transmission (AMT). Overall, the car has two engine variants. The new Wagon R 2019 model will take on Hyundai Santro and Tata Tiago.
Wagon R 2019 built on the Heartect platform
The new WagonR of Maruti has been launched in the toll-boy design like the old model. Compared to earlier, many changes have been made from its interior to exterior. The new WagonR has been built on Suzuki’s new heartect platform. For this reason, the WagonR has now become bigger, lighter, safer and more comfortable than its predecessor
Four variants of a 1.2 liter engine car
The car’s 1.2 liter petrol engine has 83hp power. It will be available in the market in four variants. Price of 1.2 liter VXi is Rs 4.89 lakh, 1.2 liter VXi AMT version will be priced at 5.36 lakh rupees, ZXi variants will be priced at 5.22 lakhs and ZXi AMT variants for Rs 5.69.
Three variants in 1.0 liter petrol engine
Similarly, in the 1.0 liter petrol engine, the company has introduced three variants. The engine of 1.0 liter engine has 68 hp power. Its LXi variants will be priced at 4.19 lakh rupees, VXi variants will be priced at 4.69 lakh rupees and VXi AMT variants of 5.16 lakh rupees. The company has given the 5-speed AMT version in both the engine options. That is what the car lovers are expected to like quite a lot.
The new WagonR is bigger than the first model. The wheelbase of the car is already 35mm higher and the car width has also been increased by 125 mm. By doing so, the car’s cabin has become more comfortable than ever before. The company has prepared the new WagonR in terms of safety.
Car exteriors
The front of the car is the Rectangular Grill, with its front being quite strong. Dual Split Headlamps are big and stylish from the existing models. Outside Rear View Mirror Looks with Integrated Turn Lights, which are offering luxury look to the car. Apart from this, Wagon R’s style has tail lamps, which makes the rear look look quite premium. The wiper is also provided on the rear windshield of the car.
New WagonR interior
There are many changes in the car’s interior compared to the first. It has a new dashboard, a new interior and a 7-inch Smart Touchscreen Information System. Infotainment system is with Apple Carplay and Android Auto Support. Dual tone finish is also provided in the black and gray color on the dashboard. The car features a steering mounted controls. It has safety features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensor.
